It's not a bad product that tastes good and is smart. My husband installed it before we moved into our new home. After a week of installation, we haven't even moved it yet, so it's not used, both percentages of filters are reduced. these filters never last 12 months and 24 months. Your best bet is to contact your local water utility and ask them to install their system for you. Although they are a bit more expensive to start with, their filters last at least 24 months and you end up spending less money in the long run. Worst of all when I contacted Purlette customer service they said it depends on the family how long they last, they can't guarantee 12 and 24 months lol. I didn't think we'd even moved it yet, so I'm not looking forward to seeing how quickly interest dwindles once we start using it. In general I am very disappointed. Save your money and spend it on one that will last longer.
