All reviews are 5 stars so you can add mine. First, the LH-25 isn't cheap compared to cheap heads, but when you've got a 5000+ camera on your head, being cheap isn't particularly wise anyway. For the current price of this ball head, a steal: it's very small with good strength, it's silky smooth, reasonable for the price and better than the price, the paddle handle takes 3/4 turn from loosest to tight to lock, and it's lightweight, but apparently hard. The only flaw I've encountered is that sometimes the swivel function gets very stiff after a tight lock, so I've found that pushing the blade shank towards the locking lug, like a hard push, gets the split body far enough spreads to release the pan hinge. . I can live with it. I left it hanging in a thick brush at the end of the camera pole for close-up/macro shooting, meaning that as little bulk and protrusion as possible goes in and then out. I find my Fuji X Pro-1 and accompanying lenses to be an intentionally good fit. To a small fish, that round head means business.
