My Surface Go 2 hasn't exploded yet

I haven't tested it with an OEM charger but I think the speed may change depending on the wattage of your power supply. Charging doesn't feel particularly slow and the USB port on the side works. The case on my device looks cheap, the USB port is difficult to use because the tolerances are too tight. I bought a USB-a to USB-c adapter and haven't thought about it since. We also recommend purchasing a right angle USB cable, otherwise the underside of the cable head may rest on the table.
