I liked this thing for climbing on cat scratchers. Was in use for about a month. We have five cats. All have been used multiple times. He is very stylish, everyone who saw him liked him. It looks great in the living room. The pads attract cat hair but so does everything lol. They have memory foam in them so I haven't tried washing them yet. They come out pretty clean with a lint roller. One of the lower struts that had a lot of scratches was a little loose, but my friend just rolled it up and put it in another strut. One of the little balls fell off (certainly with the help of many cats). Haven't found it yet so I'm not sure if it can be reattached but I suspect it can. My cats love the perch. I am 5ft 8 inches tall and is mid chest, easy to pet a cat. The round pad is detachable but the velcro is attached to the base which was a shame because it looks ugly when the round pad is removed. I'd rather have it empty so I can put a plate of food or something in it. Overall I liked the product and if I had the choice I would buy it again. We're considering getting another one from the company. I took off a star because the rope got tangled, the ball came loose and that round pad thing is annoying.
