So as most regular corsets they lace up in the back it comes with a ribbon lace up backing which the ribbon itself isn't extremely long so it's harder to loosen and tighten since it's so smooth. I'd recommend getting a at least 1 size larger then you would normally get. Just for that extra ribbon. Mine doesn't fit so I have to rip out the ribbon and replace it with string I have at home.
