There is no Samsung logo on it but it works just like the Samsung pen I have for my Galaxy Note 8. This stylus is also kept in my Samsung Galaxy Note 8, just like the Samsung stylus that originally came with my Note 8. My original Note 8 stylus still works, but the point was lost when I introduced a friend's toddler to the function of my Note 8 drawing pad. This new non-Samsung stylus is the perfect replacement. Aside from the missing Samsung logo on this newer pen, there's really no difference in functionality. There are no complaints.
