As funny as I remember them from my childhood
, They were as funny as I remember them as a child. My son and I put them together for our Christmas tree and we really had fun. The trumpet brushes were a little short, but usually long enough to fit all of the beads in each notch. We even made some shorter and longer icicles. Instead of cutting 4" sections, we sometimes cut 6" sections and 3" sections and increased or decreased the number of beads accordingly. Loops for hanging, plus a little ordinary gooey glue to secure the loops and to fasten the last bead at the bottom.
