Review on Colorado Lightweight Men's Athletic Shoes - Xero Shoes: Inspired by Barefoot Comfort by Andrew Jenkins

So far so perfect! 👟

They are a bit small for me. I ordered 9.5 and wear 9.5 shoes but I usually wear wide shoes. The length was perfect. Luckily, the narrowness doesn't cause much discomfort. If I were to order a 10.0 I'm pretty sure my pinky toes would be sticking out the sides. So far I've worn them on overnight camping trips. I only rode 2.5 miles each way and I'm glad I did. My legs were so sore the day after our walk. The brochure that accompanies the shoes warns you about this when you wear them for the first time. So I ran 2.5 miles on Saturday and Sunday and on Monday I had atrial fibrillation. But I've worn them to the water park all day and no pain! I like these for hiking. A lot of. The closed toe protected me from multiple toe strikes on roots and rocks. Gave excellent protection. Also, I was concerned that stepping on sharp rocks might be uncomfortable, but I walked gravel roads and extremely sharp rocks with no complaints. They felt so good. It was almost as if I could tell the rocks and objects were there and they were sharp. And it was good. I felt more connected and aware on the ground but with my feet perfectly protected. In the water park the shoes were great. I've worn them on all the slides and never felt the heaviness of normal water shoes. Even swimming in the lazy river and wave pool I couldn't even tell they were on my feet. I think I would spend $100 on them just to use them as water shoes! That's how good they were. So far they seem to be very durable. The outsole has a 5,000-mile guarantee, but nothing about slings or anything. Since my shoe fits snugly, I knew I would be putting pressure on most places and connections between the straps and the sole. So I tugged and tugged at all these places and there was a xero indication that this could be a malfunction. I will report any issues with this shoe in the future. Now I wear them everywhere!
