I often install ceiling lights such as recessed or surface mounted. Often on stairs I want to measure against a wall or ceiling molding so I saw on YouTube that this had the longest outstanding result. Big! I agree it's only 16 feet long as long as I can stand it. The problem, however, is that because it's bent, if you turn it sideways, it flops even worse than a cheap tape measure. Reverse is completely useless. 3 stars is tough, but they advertise it as outstanding more than anything, so I have to be tough. I don't bend a pipe, but if you do, there are some good cheat sheets on it. Think.
