The hose looks solid except where it connects to the connector on one end. At the junction of the hose with the fitting, it is poorly sealed, so the air flow is very strong. I checked to make sure it was installed correctly and screwed tight enough and it was. Holding the hose in the correct position allows my son to use the airbrush, but when I let go there isn't enough airflow for the brush to work. I saw this was an issue for some people, but the company stood by their product and quickly replaced the hose. When I contacted them, the representative told me that they had never heard of this problem. If I want to return the hose via Revain and wait an additional 3 days for a replacement I can. This was part of a gift for my son. Unfortunately, because of this broken hose, he cannot use his birthday presents. The hose is returned and we just go to port freight and pick him up so he can start his airbrushing today without anyone holding him back. In general, it would be great if it were properly clamped, but unfortunately it isn't. .
