Review on Pumpkin Carving Halloween Sculpting Lanterns by Carla Anderson

Other reviewers have mentioned that these are mostly clay tools repackaged and this seems correct. There are a few things here that don't make much sense for pumpkin carving, like textures and brush tools. My main concern is that the loop tool used for shaving/cutting to depth will fall apart under the required pressure. The metal loop just popped out of the handle. It was able to be reinstated but remained loose and clearly not up to the task. At least the other tools are good enough for detailed work. For future carving tool purchases, I'll probably go to my local hobby store for better quality individual tools. But for the price, it was still the widest range of tools I could find in one set. This is a good starter pack.
