This is my first time using something like this, I'm more of a pavement woman but my fiancee recommended fingertips when I cut my finger badly. I don't think it was a taped wound. Anyway, since I've never used fingertips before and didn't know what to expect, I gave them a try and bought them. To keep my fingers from getting dry in the shower, I folded them in half and glued a piece of medical tape to the base. Good work! After showering, I washed the wound thoroughly, let it dry, and then laid the bunk down to keep it clean and protected. The beds lasted half a day or as long as I needed before washing the wound again. I only had 1 break but honestly it's my own fault. I type on my laptop all day and also take care of my kids, dogs, laundry, dishes, cooking and everything else we wives/mums do. They have held up well considering they are very durable. I have zero complaints! I was very surprised at how well they worked. In the future I will definitely reconsider using band-aids and maybe switch to a fingertip!
