Review on Stylish and Versatile: Mark Fred Genuine Leather Reversible by Brandon Boones

Adjustable straps are more comfortable. They look decent and are easy to use.

I like belts with a finer adjustment than a standard belt with holes in the leather. This is the first time I've seen straps with this attitude and I bought a pair for my son who needed new, prettier straps. Their fit is the same as any other belt. You measure carefully and cut the length with good sharp strong scissors. Remember that it's easy to cut off more straps if needed, but it's impossible to add what you've cut off, so use caution. Putting on and adjusting is very simple: slip the end of the strap into the buckle and the strap is inserted and held in place with a ratchet mechanism. Lift the buckle to release the strap. Unlike some other adjustable straps that have teeth on the back of the strap, this strap has teeth on the edge. This has a potential aesthetic issue: if the strap is stretched enough that the buckle is holding on to the last teeth of the strap, you will see teeth on the part of the strap that protrudes from the buckle. It doesn't look as pretty as a regular belt.
