I have a Samsung Tab S4. I've tried several tablet keyboards (this one as well as the Logitech Folio and Finitie S4 keyboard case). The Cooper Backlight Executive keyboard case has been the best option so far. The main issues with the Logitech Folio are: 1) The case was bulky and heavy 2) The screen often falls off if not fully inserted into the retaining tabs during setup 3) Touching objects at the bottom of the screen (e.g. the Home button) may cause the screen to slip out of the slots and cause the screen to fall. 4) A cheap elastic band is used to keep the case closed. 5) The high failure rate of broken keys on this Logitech keyboard. My keyboard suffered - it had a key that I had to press multiple times before the keystroke was recognized. The main problems with Finitie: 1) The keyboard must be configured to close the case. 2) The keyboard should be readjusted after opening the case. 3) There was no real holding mechanism to hold the tablet when it's tilted so it keeps falling 4) The keyboard position was always awkward and felt too far from the screen while in use 5) Poor key layout in the Compared to a typical QWERTY layout, I kept hitting the wrong Ctrl, Shift, and Backspace keys. 6) Heavy but not as bulky as Logitech. The main problems with Cooper: 1) The case's magnetic closure is weak and won't stay closed if dropped. 2) The keyboard should be held against the case by a magnet, but it's very weak. The keyboard can be pushed out when the case is closed, but turned to the side. 3) Regarding the last point, I have to reconfigure the keyboard when opening/closing the case because the keyboard slides, although not as much as Finitie. .4) When open, the magnetic flap tends to slosh in front of the screen. I've gotten into the habit of tucking it slightly under the tray. 5) A bit awkward when I use it on my knees, difficult to adjust the screen in a stable position and in a good position. However, it's slightly better than Logitech and way, way better than Finitie. The Cooper also has a few good points: 1) The backlight is very nice and works well for our use - we often use the tablet in the dark when browsing IMDB while watching movies. 2) The Cooper case is the most attractive of the three cases. The faux leather looks and feels good 3) The tablet's holding mechanism is well-designed and solid 4) The button layout looks better and is less error-prone than the Finitie 5) The interior of the case is soft, which should resist scratches on the Tab S4 from Samsung (which gets bad reviews), Cooper seems like the best option overall until I find something better.
