When our Golden Retriever was a puppy, we had a 30 foot training line. Fast forward a few years and we don't have a 30 foot line anymore, it's more like a 10 foot line. Murphy had chewed it several times in different places so I made myself after I tied it up last time looking for a replacement I chose this one mainly for the length and price but I liked the wide range of colors so I had to go with purple We don't use it for training purposes Murphy is well past that point and will need a much heavier gauge leash to use as a leash as he weighs around 115 lbs. We only needed a leash long enough to take him down the stairs to where he is leading us don't drag yourself along, he's a gentle giant but still a giant lol. It works great for our purpose and doesn't look ungodly like the previous leash so I'm very happy with it.
