I was hesitant to purchase this because it had no reviews at the time of ordering. I threw caution to the wind and tried anyway. It came out today. Wow! It's exactly what I was hoping for: *completely* quiet (all I hear is the clicking of her little fingernails on the surface), very solid, and very well designed. There are no spokes, no crossbars. The entire wheel assembly is one big piece. The plastic is strong, as are the bearings and bracket. And the base sits on a cork adhesive pad that eliminates vibration. Even the packaging was impeccable. A+! Now I see a one star review that mentions safety but I don't see any concerns at all. On the contrary. Other wheels have tangled bits and weak spindles. It's awesome.
