I have purchased both US and international versions. The manufacturer needs to fix that the charger is recognized as "unknown USB device (port error)" in Windows Device Manager and also a notification is sent every time the charger is plugged in. I tried this on 3 different systems. The charger should not be listed as a USB device. Both versions of the charger have this issue and the manufacturer should fix/repeal the current version. Specific to the US version: The economy of the design needs improvement: the retractable contacts are really hard to pull out as my fingers can barely reach them. Both versions: The cable that comes with the charger is bulky and contains a large ferrite core, which is probably needed for the adapter to pass EMI tests. Somewhat expected given the design principle, but I would advise the manufacturer to find a better way.
