Update: Our big dog won. the bed rotted in June. He still likes it, but the second one offers just as much weight support as the other one, so it's flat now. We bought a new one with memory foam and hope it lasts longer. This is our second bed for our 85 lb puppy. He outgrew the last one we bought him in over 18 months (he only weighed about 50 pounds when we bought him the first). He loved the old one and he loves this one and he immediately dove into the bed and sniffed it excitedly!
