Hello! I've been using this CMOS rear view camera for four days now. There was already a problem with this CMOS camera. This camera has no video output when the outside temperature falls below 45 degrees Fahrenheit. After warming up to around 50 degrees Fahrenheit, this CMOS camera offers good video output. This is an issue as I live in Ohio and it is below 45F most of the year. I asked the seller (Brother Electronic Castle) what quality control standard they use when they "perform rigorous testing as stated in their feedback email". This Revain website, where I purchased this camera, clearly states that the camera's environmental performance is closer to -10 degrees Fahrenheit at the lower end of its operating temperature range. This camera shows signs of a serious defect in everyday use, or it is simply a defective device. I could buy the same camera on e-bay for a few bucks less, they are all over e-bay. I took a chance with Revain as I was hoping it might be a different batch but I think they all come from the same factory with a high defect rate. For the price it's not worth sending back as it takes a while. mount under my rear bumper. When it works it has the typical rosewood CMOS video and the red color is stunning but it didn't really matter as I've had one before and knew what to expect. Good luck if you get it from these.
