How: Apart from the above, the socks fit my mens size 12 (Nike, Adidas sneakers) well and not fit. shrink, shrink. It's thin, good for hot weather sports, tight knit/durable and breathable enough to run or bike in 25C to 35C (I don't exercise above that outside). IMHO the midsole of a shoe should provide cushioning; thick running socks also slip and are too hot. Also, I don't like socks holding water, it's like walking on a wet sponge. The best socks, like merino, wick away moisture. These bamboo socks are not as absorbent as merino socks but much better than cotton socks. These are currently my favorite bamboo socks. Another brand I tried, MD Unisex Premium Bamboo Socks Super Soft Moisture Wicking and Low-Cut, 6 Pack was thicker and more padded - too hot for temperatures above 75 F. MD socks wore out prematurely because the threads in the upholstery were so thin they caught and broke, just too delicate. These Odost socks are more durable. They barely protrude from low-cut sneakers and are about as attractive as athletic socks can be, except I wish they were in other colors.
