It was easy since I paid $40 at a medical supply store or bought the exact same ones here for less than $30. I have huge varicose veins and play in musical theater. Let me tell you they haven't moved the whole time I've played Pippin, I've washed them a thousand times and never ripped or bled or faded. Like all compression stockings, they keep you warm in summer. I'm 5ft 3" and they aren't really made for short people - nobody - so I had a little play in the top but I just filed the top elastic off. Bonus: They don't itch.
