My 4 year old daughter got them for her birthday and after a few days her ears were irritated with pus and blood. She had many different earrings and these were the first to which she reacted. I quickly took them off and switched to another new pair (from a different company) which I got for her birthday and she's been fine ever since. They were just awful. Beautiful but terrible.

- Can potentially attract negative attention or ridicule from peers when worn in certain social situations.
