I needed long coats - so that the light does not penetrate but not suffocate, especially leather or fur. However. I don't use it for travel or to withstand a lot of wear and tear. I looked at a lot of bags - the descriptions of most were sketchy - they said 'breathable' but they looked shiny. How can shiny polyester even breathe? They were as described and as expected, just what I was looking for. More like artificial fabric - like a more durable paper towel compared to a thick garbage bag. I'm not a content expert and don't really know what the best leather/fur item would be, but that was my goal. I do not have expensive items and do not send items for off-office seasonal storage. I can see that the zip isn't very strong, but that wasn't a feature high on my list and that's to be expected for the price - just something to be aware of and hopefully it will stay if you're careful with it bypasses them functionally. . The only thing that would really make the bags better would be a gusset, but that would also make them more expensive and having bought several items I thought this would be a great starter pack to try. I think overall it's good value for money either for seasonal storage or just things I keep during the season I'm using the item but I need to protect it from light. I have a tiny studio with poor temp/humidity control and I appreciate my window, but the light fades on clothes I don't wear often and I don't want to smother my skin or fur. Happy with this pack of bags.
