When attempting to repair a water solenoid valve with a leaking plastic body, neither epoxy nor propoxy nor Bondit 45, an epoxy meant to bond to difficult substrates, could stop the leak: none stuck to the body. In a pinch, much to my surprise after many disappointments, this Hercules Chemical product solved the problem. The remanufactured valve body is subjected to constant tap water pressure of 70-90 psi. This product is not intended for use with polyolefins, polyethylenes or polypropylenes.
