I bought this hoping my favorite scent Out! stain and odor remover for pets. I have a 14 year old cat who sometimes gets into accidents and I have to clean her up. The lavender scent was pleasant on first use. Just after the area I was spraying started smelling really, really bad. A very strange and strong chemical smell that was overpowering - worse than the tiny urine stain I removed. It was bad enough that Arm & Hammer couldn't even get rid of the smell and I actually drowned it in half a can of Febrez. I'm literally thinking about throwing away the chair I used it on. BTW I didn't apply it to the pillow, just a tiny strip of fabric that sits between the support springs and the pillow, so I don't understand how it smelled so disgusting (I washed the pillow separately myself). the bath and dried for a week and it's like new). I followed the instructions but had no idea how horrific the turn of events would be. Pooh.
