It's easy to use if you are new at using Linux or any command line software like that! I used it while working in my school computer lab as well when we were setting up servers/computers etc., so this was very helpful since most people didn't know how exactly what they wanted their server set-up look liked before hand (we had computers running various OSes).
The only thing i disliked about Putty though would be its not compatible wtih other programs such us Skype which requires RealVNC Server Pro instead because realvnc does support puty unlike VMWare Player where vncclient doesn;' work properly under windows 10 64bit operating system.
