My triracial daughter (Black White Filipino) is 5 years old now and I have tried all kinds of hair/braids to keep her under the sun so she can sleep. NOTHING but corrugated nylon hats for men actually stay on all night. But they are so tight that they leave red lines that turn into a scar on her forehead.
