I was so sure it would improve my WiFi signal depending on where my router was that I kept using it for two months despite all the evidence to the contrary used. I kept moving the base and adjusting the position of the antenna and nothing could bring my signal strength back to where it was before. Eventually I unplugged it and reinstalled the original 3 antennas that came with my Dlink router and immediately my signal improved. I think it was a relatively inexpensive way to find out that what I had before wasn't that bad.
