Review on Celestron 51630 Pointer Telescope Finderscope by Arun Kumar ᠌

Revainrating 4 out of 5

I like everything, the price and quality are acceptable.

I want to tell you my personal opinion about Celestron 51630 Pointer Telescope Finderscope. Pretty good telescope, but for the convenience of transporting the pipe, it is better to immediately buy a tool box from a hardware store and foam rubber to put in the box. It is also better to immediately get external power cables (car or from a power outlet). For an external GPS receiver, well, the price is not at all adequate - about 12,000.

Pros
  • Compact dimensions. Suitable for balcony observations. Automatic aiming at the object and its subsequent tracking.
Cons
  • Long thermal stabilization. Batteries last for 3-4 hours. And there are 8 of them. At high tilt angles, the mount does not elongate the Canon 80D even when the telescope is balanced. It is heavy to mount.
