I have used many tarps over the years to cover my boat for the winter and now I have absolute confidence in this tarp. With light blue polythene tarps I was worried all winter just waiting for a storm to tear them up and fill the boat with snow. Don't worry about that. We had a terrible 20 inch snow storm here in October 2011 - wet heavy stuff combined with very strong gusts of wind. This tarpaulin hardly moved. in the wind - that's a tough way of working. The grommets are well reinforced so you can really push them down with a piece of string to get the right tension without worrying about the grommet pulling out.
