Another piece of junk

I don't understand all the rave reviews, it really is a piece of crap for the price. This is my second replacement and it does exactly the same thing as the first: it changes speed when set to normal. It doesn't let out much air and it has a high pitched tone, it's loud. I don't understand the comments about him being calm as he's definitely not calm. I'm just leaving it because it's white and blends in with my walls and I don't have a ceiling fan yet. I'll throw it away once I've installed the ceiling fans.
