Review on ASICS Women's Gel-Contend 5: Unleash Your Running Potential! by Guerdon Draper

I was having pain in my legs and hips so I was trying to find a pair of shoes that would relieve the pain in both cases. These did their job! There is a gel/foam insole of sorts (non-removable) that has little to no arch support but fits perfectly. This is NOT a shoe to wear in rainy and muddy weather - it goes right through the mesh upper - but for good weather/conditions they are perfect. (I live in Minnesota so I won't wear them in the mud, but I'll definitely bring them to wear indoors). I know this doesn't sound like a rave review because I mentioned a few things that sound negative, but at the end of the day all I care about is that they're comfortable and relieve pain, which they did. . Five stars.
