I wish I had bought this tray sooner! My cat is quite dirty and this has definitely reduced the amount of stray litter she throws away. Switching was also easy. For the first few days I left the lid on and poured half a spoonful of the used filling over the fresh filling. After she got used to the box I added a lid and she has had no problems so far! I also bought disposable pouches for this box but not sure I will buy again. They are a little thin and short and constantly in danger of falling through. I think a regular garbage bag would probably work just fine. Edit: Don't buy bags made for this litter box. You are a complete joke! You would think that for the price they would at least give you enough plastic to walk around the tub for a bit. My cat kept puckering the edges and minding her own business. save your money A regular large garbage bag will do the job. It is larger and more reliable than those made specifically for this subject. If you use black drawstring bin liners, cleaning is very easy.
