Review on 🚗 Rugged Ridge 11540.10 XHD Bumper: Winch Mount for 07-18 Jeep Wrangler JK in Black by Dan Sturm

There are no questions about the packaging, all components came in perfect condition. Quadatrec told me I need spacers to install Warn Zeon 10s on the bumper. I installed everything myself. Difficult but doable. Thing is, apart from not really liking the winch being a bit high in the bumper (yes I understand it's because of the spacers) I can't install the bull bar, it bangs against the winch. Looking at this I think that with a little bit of sanding I can mount the winch without the spacers. I'm only going camping in a few days and don't have time to repeat. It wouldn't be hard to replace except if you're moving the vacuum pump place it right under one of the bolts. So if you don't mind pulling a little winch up and where you're going say add a spike instead of a bull. beam, it works. Yes, the crossmember doesn't feel very strong, and the high-clearance side extensions are held in place by bolts. So what. It is ready to remove, replace or exchange parts. Try a one-piece bumper. The base is solid. There are panels on the sides so if you want that's all you need.
