Shark wanted $70 for a replacement vacuum hose which I paid $99 for. Will not happen. I stumbled across this seller and took a chance. Absolutely perfect replacement - only BETTER! I was never happy with how short and stiff (no stretch) the hose was on my Shark. I learned this the hard way the first time I used it with a crevice tool and the whole thing tipped over and left a big dent in the new cherry colored bedside table. This hose is about 2 inches longer than stock, which on its own might not make a huge difference, but more importantly, it's fairly light and stretchy, allowing for longer reach when used with on-board tools. I am very happy with this purchase.
