This tube bender works well with most standard brake line gauges. I use mine to decorate steampunk guns so my rug will be a little different. I found the curves to be fairly smooth. Depending on what you need it for, this can be useful. I'd rather have waves with a different configuration. I actually managed to do most of the work with both hands (I think I use 5/16). Bender helped with some pre-corners but I had to work with him. This line becomes very stiff when bent at different angles. Perhaps this is all known information to those using the brake lines for their intended purpose, but this is how it worked for me. take what you want
