This toy is very handsome and seems well-made, but my mini-schnauzer broke a huge hole in it almost immediately. She loves stuffed animals, so I wanted something that she could play with, leaving the other dog's toys intact. I opened the package as soon as I arrived home and she went NUTS for it--but within twenty minutes of my opening the package, she had a mouthful of strings and the squeaker torn out.Happily, Tuffy squeaker come in little safety bags for just this reason, but I was hoping to make it at least twenty-four hours before I had to remove one. I'm going to keep the toy because I find it super cute, but it's a little frustrating to find that a toy rated 9/10 on the Tuffy scale was so quickly ruined. Maybe a few suggestions for what types of breeds can bust through the different levels of tuff-ness would help? This is probably a perfectly fine toy for a dog not so rough on their toys, but I was hoping that this one could stand up to a mini-schnau, considering the fact that it's specifically marketed to hard-playing dogs.
