I use it for cold cutting soap. It works well, after reading the care instructions for other wire cutters I always unclip the wire when not in use so it lasts longer. It cuts cleanly, although it allows for a 1/4 inch angle if you're not careful. It's not noticeable and for the price it's worth the money. Like the other reviewer, I also keep a cloth nearby and wipe down the wire after each cut.
