This is a really good furniture quality kneeler. The fittings work smoothly, the impregnation is even, all edges are well polished. It arrived fully assembled except for the stopper which is simply inserted into two pre-drilled holes with small dowels. (I actually removed that as I mainly write; I'm left-handed and that makes it useless as a desk for me with the cork). My only criticism is that there is no way to securely lock the drawer. I had it open when I knocked it over a little while using the table and when I lifted it to open it for use. There should be a fairly simple remedy for this problem on my part, but ideally on the manufacturer's side. This would make a great gift for anyone working from home and will come in handy for those recovering from surgery or in bed. for periods.
