I was looking for a shaker that could be poured or sprinkled, but I also wanted it to be dishwasher safe. I also wanted a nice red to add a pop of color to my kitchen. You were perfect. The color is perfect and I love the fact that you can see what's in the shaker because the bottom is clear. They also allow for easy filling due to the larger opening. Just note that the top has slightly larger holes so small granules like salt come out quickly, but once you know it doesn't really matter. The fact that the holes are slightly larger allows for other seasonings that may not be as good.
