One of my daughters loves Shrek so I bought this to brighten her day (and night!). This set is a good deal. less than $20 for a large shrek "lamp" and a small shrek usb light. Shrek looks cool in the corner of the room. It doesn't emit any really useful light, but it just looks cool. However, these types of illusory 3D lamps do not look good in the light. not only these, but all. The small USB indicator is much brighter than I expected. And that's just white light. There is no color changing mode. However, I am sure that if you had a piece of colored foil you could stick it in the lamp and color it. Or, now that I think about it, you could probably paint the bottom edge of Shrek's little acrylic piece with a marker and everything would glow with that color. The only negative I have is that there was a problem with a small USB. Flashlight. There was too much foreign plastic in the slot where the acrylic Shrek figure is inserted. The Shrek figure didn't fit in there. So I took a razor blade and CAREFULLY cut the plastic off the inside walls. Bit by bit until Shrek showed up. Now it works great.
