A great all-round camera that feels good to hold in your hands and makes you want to carry it with you everywhere. I realized that the cameras of the micro4/3 system are not toys, but professional tools that are not inferior to large DSLRs in most cases. I would not undertake to shoot a wedding on the G80 and whale 12-60, but let's be honest, shooting a wedding on any entry-level crop and zoom is a bad idea. But on the G80 and some light zoom 12-35 - already quite. Matrix stabilization at Panasonic is something. You can leave the monopod at home :) Especially when paired with a native stabilized lens, the matrix and optical stabilizers help each other, making handheld shooting as smooth as possible. I have already shot several clips completely from my hands, the result is excellent. Good codec - video looks great in both 4K and 1080p. In fact, 1080p turned out to be so good that I shoot almost everything in it, so as not to force the computer at the post. Despite not the highest (compared to GH4 and GH5) bitrate in 1080p - and it is 24/28Mbps, footage from the camera works fine even with deep coloring when shooting in a low-contrast Cinelike-D profile. The G80 also takes excellent pictures, I want to note the incredibly quiet mechanical shutter - the camera is almost "spy" - you can shoot a report without attracting attention to yourself, which is convenient in many situations and allows you to get unique shots. JPEG from the camera is not bad, but RAW is better. The bundled zoom 12-60 f/3.5-5.6 is sharp, with an eye-catching pattern, but rather dark - aperture starts to drop quite quickly, at 25mm it is already 4.5, and 5.6 starts at 40mm. But for the price it's ok. For me, the main disadvantage of the lens is the tight zoom ring, it is difficult to turn the zoom when shooting video without jerking. Everything else in the lens - solid pluses, sharpness, stabilization, moisture protection, constructive. With faster optics, the camera can provide quality that is quite sufficient for serious commercial work. The 16MP matrix allows you to easily make prints up to A3 format with excellent sharpness.
