It's comparable to the OEM units
I think the water tastes a little better with GE filters but not so significant that I feel that they are worth the added costs. The water is noticably better when it is filtered. My son and I drink more water from the refigerator because the filter make it taste significantly better. The ice also tastes better.

- These filters are great. Perfect fit and they don't leak a drop. Very happy with them.
