We had torrential rains in the fall summer and the last tropical storm flooded the garage. They worked well in the next storm. Ideal for garage doors. As they expand, they become heavy and the remaining gel ends up on your hands. Judging by the packaging, they are reusable. The only problem is that they dry out in between when you need them. This takes a lot of time and you have to figure out where to put them to dry. It leaves a puddle as it begins to shrink. We had to hang them by elastic cords in the garage with buckets underneath to fetch water. But this inconvenience is much better than dealing with flooding.
