Review on πŸ‘Ÿ FitKicks Crossovers: The Perfect Women's Foldable Footwear for Active and Minimalist Lifestyles by Jamie Behm

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Overall very happy with this cute slip on shoe!

It was a difficult purchase because there were so many good and bad reviews about it. I saw them in the Staples store a few months ago (on sale) but unfortunately they only had the small and the extra large. I tried both on and the small ones were very tight and the extra large ones fell off my foot (I'm a women's size 8.5 or 9 depending on the shoe) so I knew I was medium or large. After reading so many of these reviews and even though my normal shoe size falls under "large (8.5-9.5)" I decided to downsize to medium and I'm so glad I did . I just wanted a basic shoe with no laces that I could wear on the treadmill or do aerobics at home, so I'd be really upset if the shoes were even a bit big (I could trip over them and injure myself). a little tight but they stretch to fit my foot every time I wear them. As most reviews say, the forefoot is a little tight and would be terrible for people with sensitive toes, but luckily my toes are pretty hard from years in snowboard boots. The elastic cross straps on the top are a bit loose but they seem to fit me better than a lot of other people who have left reviews and I'm glad because I love this design and haven't found another similar one. The reason this isn't a 5 star rating is due to the slightly rough stitching and fit in the toe box, as well as the odd flapping at the back of the heel. I'm really not sure why these tufts are there (circled in the last photo) as the sole is meant to be shorter due to my intentional downsizing. The heel also slides down a bit. But in general these are all things I can handle / these are cosmetic things that are secondary. These are very cute little shoes and I am very happy with them. If I can dance in the club again, these will be my shoes in my purse when my heels get too sore and I need to change!
