I wrote the same review about matching speakers in a different size. We have one set in the cockpit and another one on the aft deck. If you plan to gig on your boat these speakers may not be for you, but for general boat use they are as good as any I've heard or used for around the same price. A good audio system with bass and reverb controls makes more sense than driving up the price in search of better sound. We have had many systems over the years and I find them suitable for listening to music on your boat, sailing alongside the boat or on shore if your boat is small enough to land on. Are they the best sound quality you can find? No, but it's not what you pay for. For us they are exactly what we need.
