Convenient and efficient

Easy to read and accurate. Vinyl material doesn't stretch, so that's a good thing. Press the button on one side in the center of the disk surface and the tape will release and retract. Inside is a ratchet that allows you to pull out a small amount at a time with one click. They put a protective plastic cover on either side of the meter's glossy black body, so I guess they already know it's going to scratch over time.
