I've had a grinder for about 2 years and yesterday it broke completely. It worked well, but there were enough flaws that I didn't want to buy another replacement. About two weeks after purchase it came loose in the middle - the silver band was only stuck on the salt and pepper sides. Super glue fixed it permanently. It looks nice and takes up very little space. It works great, has an adjustable grinder for both sides, grind size isn't very consistent, but you get what you pay for. I'm not sure about the quality of stainless steel as I started corroding it from the salt pretty quickly. The lids never get stuck and keep falling off so they get thrown out pretty quickly. The downside is it makes a mess without a lid, so I keep it on a small tray along with my oil bottle. The final straw came yesterday when the salt mill jammed after trying to adjust the grind. I tried to gently twist the pliers and the pin that went through the sharpening part completely detached from the sharpening stone. Troubleshooting failed. I will try to substitute other brands.
