I hand embroider from designs I find in many different places, even photos, and have been stuck in the past trying to figure out how much to do with a design can zoom in or out I had . to print and track the size I need. This little tool is very useful. It may require a steep learning curve to figure out how to use it, but the instructions are not a problem, sometimes their interpretation. I encourage you to keep working on it because this little tool is really worth it! Now I can easily make 6-9 inch blocks for my embroidery from any size designs I have on hand. It's a cardboard object with two concentric circles on top of each other that you rotate to find the current size of the design versus the size you need to create and shows how much you're scaling down or up for the size you want. It will wear out over time with heavy use, but as a brain-friendly tool that actually gets the job done, and for the price I paid, I think it's still worth buying. Happy with this purchase.
