The lid is good for something else but the buttons are very narrow making them difficult to press when you want to use the remote window lowering function and it actually decreases the unlocking and locking distance, when the remote control is used control signal fails. Your key, even from a low height, will cause the cover to come off and scatter on the floor, I would choose something more durable and lighter on the buttons that doesn't interfere with the remote signal.
